Thomson Gale’s Encyclopaedia Judaica Receives Dartmouth Medal
Second Edition of the Encyclopaedia Honored
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Jan. 21, 2007 - More than 30 years in the making, the Encyclopaedia Judaica, Second Edition has received the coveted 2007 Dartmouth Medal in recognition for distinguished achievement relating to the creation of works of reference resources. Thomson Gale, part of Thomson Learning, and Jerusalem-based Keter Publishing House's Encyclopaedia Judaica, Second Edition includes more than 21,000 articles on Jewish life, culture, history and religion, written by a global team of subject-matter experts.
